This page provides answers to frequently asked questions about our CCTV and other security products.
| Are your cheap cameras any good? |
| | Really depends what you want your CCTV system for. Cheaper cameras generally tend to not see very well, if at all, in low light, and have problems flaring in bright light. They also do not tend to be as clear, and the lenses are usually a wide fixed lens. This is fine for the home or small business that just want to keep an eye on things with a stable light source, but if you need to recognise faces at a distance, see in low light or read number plates from instance, spend a bit more and go for the professional range. we can advise the best one for your needs.

| How do I know what lens I need? |
| | Have a look at the 'Hints and Tips' on the home page, and while you are on the home page click on the easy to use 'Lens calculator' under the 'Products' listings on the left. This will show you what lens you need to give you the image you want.

| Can I use the Quadcam and my PC at the same time? |
| | Yes you can, but depending on how busy you are on your PC it can slow things down, so be warned! However, there is a 'small window' facility that will allow you to just watch one camera in the corner of the screen and that does not affect speed as much.
